Self Ejecting MacBook Pro Battery? Battery swells and pops out!

So I'm sitting in a staff meeting this morning and I hear a pop and then my MacBook Pro goes stone dead. I flip the laptop over and my battery fell off. Turns out the battery heated up, started to swell, changed shape and outgrew its designated battery compartment. Hey, at least it didn't catch fire. (Picture included)

After looking at Apple's latest announcment; the iTV, we can only expect downloadable HD content to be in Apple's future, after all, why else include HDMI and Component and not S-Video? New Ipod Nano could bump Apple's profits 20%

Apple sells 125,000 movie downloads in first week

Walt Disney chief executive Robert Iger said on Tuesday the company sold 125,000 movie downloads worth $1 million in revenue through Apple Computer's iTunes Store during the offering's first week. The entertainment conglomerate, which placed 75 movies for download on iTunes last week, expects the movie downloads to generate $50m in year one.

iPod fans 'shunning iTunes store'

Despite the success of Apple's iPod, few people stock their player with tracks from the company's iTunes Store, reports a study. The Jupiter Research report reveals that, on average, only 20 of the tracks on a iPod will be from the iTunes Store. CD-ripped music and files from sharing sites were far more common.
